Most of us in life go through a lot of bitter experiences. And just because, success never knocks at our door, it doesn’t mean that we are destined to fail. It all lies in how you look at things and handle them. That is where many of us lose focus. Some people believe that if they fail once, then they will fail continuously. But, that is not true. Let us not forget Thomas Alva Edison who had to fail a thousand times before he successfully invented the light bulb.
People need to develop the right mentality when it comes to dealing with failures. Instead of looking at failures as shameful, embarrassing events, try approaching them with a positive vibe where you look at failures as mistake not to be repeated the next time you try. And, keep trying and never give up no matter how many times you fail. Perseverance is the key to achieve success.
Let me tell you a simple Failures story to make you understand this better.
A man who was passing by a herd of elephants suddenly stopped in his way to notice that the huge elephants were being held by a small rope tied to their front legs. The man was quite astonished because the big elephants could easily break from the rope with just a slight pull but the creatures stayed put in their places and did not make a single wrong move.
Motivational Story: No Substitute for Hard-Work
Curious, this man asked the elephant trainers who was seated nearby, “ How come the elephants don’t try to get away when only a small rope is holding them?”
The trainer replied, “ The same size rope was used to tie them right from when they were very young. At that age, even if they tried they could not break away from it’s hold so as they grew up they were conditioned to believe that they could never break away”.

The man was simply amazed by the trainer’s response. Even though the elephants were mighty and strong, they could not break free just because they believed they couldn’t Sounds ridiculous, doesn’t it? But that is the power of belief.
Just like the elephants, many of us are trained to believe that if we fail once, we will fail in life forever. We have to change our way of thinking. We have to make ourselves believe that it is okay to fail and that there is always a next time where we can try to succeed.

Keep in mind the mighty elephants when you fail the next time. Just like them, you are mighty and strong but you just don’t know that about yourself because you are forced to believe otherwise.
Moral of the Story:Failures are the stepping stones to success. Failures should motivate you and make the fire in you burn even brighter so that you achieve success. Infact, failures help you gain a lot of experiences which will prove to be useful to you in your future life.
